Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Responsibilities:As a Speech Language Pathologist at Frontline Personnel, you will perform a variety of tasks in a Long-Term Care rehab, Skilled Nursing Facility for elderly patients, including:Apply principles, methods, and procedures for:Prevention, identification, evaluation, and treatment of communication disordersConsultation, habilitation, rehabilitation, instruction, and research related to communication and swallowing functionsAddress the development and disorders of human communication and related oral and pharyngeal competencies.Manage and treat conditions affecting:Speech, phonology, and articulationFluency and voiceAccent modificationVerbal and written languageNonoral and nonverbal communicationCognitive communication, auditory and visual processing, memory, and comprehensionInteractive communication skillsMastication, deglutition (swallowing), and other oral, pharyngeal, and laryngeal sensorimotor functions Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Qualifications:A Current Speech Language Pathologist license by the State is REQUIRED.Skilled Nursing Facility experience is preferred, but not required.
