To be creditable, this experience must have equipped the applicant with the particular qualifications to perform successfully the duties of the position, and must typically be in or related to the position to be filled.Some examples of this qualifying experience are:GS-11:Experience in administering employee relations matters including administration of the incentive awards program, performance evaluation program, and leave administration program.Experience in maintaining accurate staffing projections and position accountability for the region.Experience in reviewing disciplinary and adverse action letters, and complex or unusual pay setting to ensure compliance with applicable guidelines and/or regulations.GS-12:Experience providing oversight to a human resource component and advisory services in the areas of labor management practices, staffing and placement, classification, compensation, performance management, benefits, or employee development.Experience interpreting and ensuring compliance with federal laws, OPM regulations, DOJ and BOP policies as they apply to human resource issues.Experience developing and maintaining constructive and cooperative relationships with the union in the development of personnel policies, practices and procedures which affect conditions of employment and contribute to the effective operation of the facility.ORCombination of Education and Experience:GS-11:A combination of education and experience are qualifying for all grade levels for which both education and experience are acceptable.If applicable, credit will be given for paid and unpaid experience.
