Title: Electrical AssemblerLocation: Pearland, TX (100% Onsite)Duration: 6 Months (Contract)Pay Range: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour on w2Shift: Hours are typically 6am – 4pm with a 1-hour lunch Mon – Thurs and 6am to 10am on FridayJob DescriptionUnder supervision of the Production Supervisor and direction from the Team Lead, the Electrical Assembler must be able to correctly build finished products or sub-assemblies using work instructions, general dimensional drawings, electrical components, wiring diagrams, or verbal instructions.ResponsibilitiesMaintains production stock for flow of production.Assembles electrical, mechanical, and/or electro-mechanical components of simple to moderate complexity requiring some fitting, adjusting, drilling, tapping, crimping, cutting, and fabricating.Solders through-hole and surface mount components on PCBs and any preparations necessary for fabrication of subassemblies.Performs simple troubleshooting of subassemblies.Performs final assembly of select electronic products before final inspection.Completes basic packaging of electronics.Must Have1+ years of experience in Electrical / Mechanical and/or electro-mechanical assembly.1+ years of experience in Soldering PCBs.Experiencing performing subassembly testing, as necessary, requiring the use of DMMs (digital multi-meters), loop calibrators, power supplies, voltage (hi-pot) testers, hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices such as height gauges, adjustable parallels, and calipers (digital or analog).
