Automotive Accounting Clerk - Ford of Pleasanton

Accounting ClerkFord of Pleasanton Ford of Pleasanton is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our accounting team. This role supports the daily financial operations of the dealership by ensuring transactions are processed accurately and records are maintained in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment where accuracy and attention to detail are essential. Responsibilities Process daily accounting transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and deal postings Verify and reconcile financial documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with dealership policies Assist with posting vehicle deals and maintaining deal files Process invoices and prepare payments to vendors Reconcile schedules and assist with monthly accounting reports Maintain organized financial records and documentation Assist with title and registration paperwork as needed Support the accounting office with administrative and clerical duties Work closely with management to ensure accurate financial reporting Qualifications Previous accounting, bookkeeping, or office experience preferred Automotive dealership experience is a plus but not required Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Basic knowledge of accounting principles Experience with Microsoft Excel and office software Dealertrack DMS experience is a plus Benefits Competitive pay Health, dental, and life insurance Paid vacation and holidays 401(k) with company participation Employee vehicle purchase program Opportunity for long-term career growth within El Toro Auto Group About Our Dealership Ford of Pleasanton is part of El Toro Auto Group, a family-owned and operated automotive organization that has received numerous Ford President's Awards.
