For more than 60 years, we have partnered with individuals and families to provide services that foster growth, meaningful relationships, and opportunities for active participation in community life.Our mission: Empowering lives to thrive.As part of an upcoming rebrand, we are launching a new website and are seeking a copywriter to help shape clear, engaging, and thoughtful content that reflects our work.Role OverviewThis role will lead the writing and refinement of website content within a 4–6-week project timeline. It will involve translating complex program information into clear, compelling language while maintaining a consistent voice across the site.Scope of WorkWrite and refine content for core website pages (e.g., Home, About, Programs, Services, Careers)Edit and polish secondary pages (e.g., Leadership, Contact, FAQs)Align content with brand voice, tone, and messaging directionSimplify complex information into clear, user-friendly languageCollaborate with internal stakeholders to gather input and feedbackParticipate in a kickoff call and stakeholder interviewsComplete at least 2 rounds of revisions per pageQualifications· Proven experience writing website copy (portfolio or writing samples required)· Exceptional writing skills with a focus on clarity, tone, and precision· Strong editing skills and attention to detail· Excellent communication and interviewing skills· Ability to manage feedback and deliver high-quality work within a defined timeline· Experience writing for mission-driven organizations (nonprofits, healthcare, education, or human services) preferredNice to HaveExperience supporting a rebrand or website redesignExperience with accessible and inclusive writing practices Familiarity with SEO and web content structureTo Apply· A brief note describing how you approach translating complex information into clear, engaging website copy· Your resume· A portfolio link or 2–3 writing samples· Your availability
