Role Summary
Drylock Technologies is seeking a Logistics Manager to lead daily logistics operations—inbound, warehouse, and outbound—for our Reidsville plant. This role owns performance across service, inventory, and safety, and builds a high‑performing team that keeps product moving reliably through a high‑speed, high‑volume manufacturing environment. Key Performance Metrics (KPIs)
On‑Time, In‑Full (OTIF) Delivery — service performance to internal manufacturing and external customers
Inventory Accuracy — cycle counts and reconciliation, minimizing adjustments and write‑offs
Safety Incidents — continuous reduction in recordable events and near‑misses; visible leadership in safe work practices and 5S
Primary Responsibilities
Daily Logistics Operations
Oversee inbound receipts of raw materials: unloading, system receiving, and discrepancy resolution.
Manage warehouse storage, material movements, and line‑side replenishment to production; ensure real‑time transaction accuracy in the inventory system.
Lead outbound shipping: pick/pack, staging, trailer loading, documentation, and carrier dispatch to meet shipment commitments.
Communicate shipment risks early and coordinate with Customer Service (outbound) and Purchasing (inbound) to avoid misses. [HRF026 Pos...oup Leader | Word]
Inventory Control
Own cycle‑count programs for raw materials and finished goods; investigate variances and drive corrective actions to protect inventory integrity.
Safety, Quality, and Continuous Improvement
Enforce safety standards and housekeeping; run regular warehouse audits for Safety, 5S, and quality issues.
Standardize procedures across shifts; coach leads and coordinators on process discipline and problem‑solving.
Partner with QA and Production on scrap, recycle, and repack processes to maintain quality and flow.
People Leadership
Lead, develop, and coach logistics personnel; set clear priorities, communicate expectations, and recognize performance.
Ensure the team is correctly staffed and trained for each area (receiving, storage, shipping); act quickly on performance or skill gaps.
Candidate Profile (Qualifications)
Must‑Have
Proven leadership in an industrial warehouse/shipping/receiving environment, ideally within high‑volume manufacturing.
Effective communicator—clear, timely, and collaborative across Operations, Production, QA, Customer Service, Purchasing, and carriers.
Hands‑on experience with warehouse audits, safety practices, and 5S standards; track record reducing incidents and improving housekeeping.
Strong inventory control skills: cycle counts, reconciliation, variance analysis, and transaction discipline.
Ability to build work plans, balance resources, and meet tight shipping/receiving schedules.
Nice‑to‑Have
Experience leading logistics teams with multiple roles (Group Leaders, Lead Coordinators) and acting as the escalation point for schedule changes.
Exposure to repack/scrap processes and cross‑functional coordination with QA and Production.
Experience with SAP
Work Environment
On‑site role at the Reidsville plant with frequent presence on docks, warehouses, and production areas.
Requires standing, walking, operating around powered industrial trucks (PIT), and adherence to PPE and safety procedures.
