Energy Regulatory Attorney

The Position:A nationally recognized law firm is seeking Energy Regulatory Associate to join its Washington, DC office. This role offers the opportunity to advise leading energy companies, utilities, private equity sponsors, developers, and financial institutions on complex regulatory and transactional matters across the power, renewable energy, and infrastructure sectors. Associates will work on a broad range of issues involving the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), state utility commissions, energy market regulation, transmission and interconnection matters, project development, and regulatory aspects of mergers, acquisitions, financings, and other strategic transactions.Associates will play a key role in high-profile matters shaping the evolving energy landscape, including issues related to renewable generation, battery storage, grid modernization, and energy transition initiatives.About the Firm:The firm is widely recognized for its premier energy and infrastructure practice, advising clients on some of the most significant and innovative matters in the sector.
