The Insurance Sales Representative will consult with prospective and existing clients to understand their coverage needs, present appropriate insurance solutions, and guide them through the application and policy selection process. Daily responsibilities include managing inbound and outbound calls, generating and following up on leads, preparing quotes, and maintaining accurate records in the agency’s systems. The role involves educating clients on policy options, answering coverage questions, and assisting with renewals, endorsements, and basic service requests. The Insurance Sales Representative will collaborate with internal team members and carrier partners to ensure timely policy issuance and high-quality customer experience, while meeting individual and team sales goals in a compliant manner.Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in Insurance Sales and Sales, including prospecting, lead follow-up, and closing in a consultative, needs-based manner.Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to build trust, handle inquiries professionally, and maintain long-term client relationships.Working knowledge of Insurance products and Insurance Brokerage practices, or a strong interest in learning these quickly.Ability to explain insurance concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing, to clients with varying levels of understanding.State-appropriate Property & Casualty insurance license (or willingness and ability to obtain one within a defined time frame).Comfort with using agency management systems, CRM tools, and standard office software for documentation and follow-up.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines simultaneously.Previous experience in insurance, financial services, or related sales roles is preferred but not required.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or relevant certifications are a plus.
