Electro-Mechanical AssemblerAre you an experienced Manufacturing Technician looking to work on cutting-edge technology? This is a direct hire opportunity with a growing company where you'll play an important role in bringing new products from engineering into full-scale production.Schedule1st ShiftDirect HirePay: $30.00 - $33.00/hour (based on experience)What You'll DoAssemble complex electro-mechanical systems and components.Build and install cable harnesses, wiring, and pressure-rated connectors.Perform wire crimping and soldering to IPC standards.Conduct functional testing and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems.Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by helping transition new designs into manufacturing.Assist with pilot builds, process improvements, and assembly documentation.Perform leak testing, pressure testing, and calibration of components.Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.Maintain quality standards while following ESD and safety procedures.Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes.Required Qualifications4+ years of electro-mechanical assembly experience.Experience in manufacturing environments such as aerospace, defense, automotive, robotics, marine, or similar industries.Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.Experience with soldering, wire harnessing, and cable fabrication.Strong mechanical aptitude with hand and power tools.Experience using testing equipment such as multimeters and measuring tools.Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical assemblies.Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. and working in a manufacturing environment.Preferred QualificationsIPC-A-610, J-STD-001, or IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification.Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) programs.Experience with marine robotics, AUVs, ROVs, aerospace, or defense manufacturing.Knowledge of leak testing, pressure testing, waterproof assemblies, or subsea applications.Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and Lean Manufacturing principles.
