SQL servers developer

Database DeveloperGeneral Responsibilities - Provide database development for American Honda's public websites. Troubleshoot and correct bugs/defects related to database objects. Optimize queries and identify bottlenecks in OLTP, warehouse and SSIS. Analyze, design and code database enhancements. Perform unit, system and integration testing of database objects as appropriate. Assist the QA analyst, programmers and architects. Assist the other DBAs and programmers as necessary.Skills & Experience - Microsoft SQL Server: Must have 5+ years' experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008. 2+ years of experience in SQL Report Services. 5+ years of experience in SSIS ETL development. 5+ years of experience developing stored procedures using XML as input and output.Qualifiers - Must be expert in T-SQL, FOR XML, Spatial, SSIS. Must be proficient in C# as it applies to CLR stored procedures and SSIS development. Good understanding of Microsoft Web and Commerce Technologies. Must have ability to quickly grasp complex jobs and routines. Must have ability to multitask production/team support and development demands. Ability to optimize routines from a few seconds to milliseconds. Should have demonstrated ability to analyze, design, develop and evaluate complex databases and stored procedures. Must have excellent background in producing high quality, structured, and production ready code. Should have demonstrated ability to work with Indexed Views, Data Dictionaries, UDF, UDT. Ability to analyze, evaluate and optimize data structure. Must have excellent background in producing high quality, structured, and production ready code, including workflow and data driven applications. Must have experience in Powershell and VBScript (legacy support). Knowledge of various database architectures (transactional vs. reporting, etc...). Experience working with Agile Methodologies.Other Requirements - Experience working in a team environment. Must be highly motivated self starter. Willingness to work outside of normal working hours when required.
