General Labor / Flagger

We are seeking a skilled Flagger/Laborer to join our team for Street, Road, Highway, and Heavy Civil Construction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working in field operations with subcontractors for small civil projects and concrete flatwork. Assist equipment operators, form setters, and concrete finishers with general tasks. Working with the Traffic Control Supervisor to assist in traffic flow. No job is ever the same, we need hardworking individuals who like challenges, are excellent at their trade, are flexible team players, take pride in their work, and are always willing to learn something new!ResponsibilitiesAssist Journeyman with various construction tasks, such as digging, hauling, and cleanup.Perform manual labor tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials, tools, and equipment.Operate power tools, such as saws, drills, and grinders, under the supervision of experienced journeymen.Layout parking lot striping.Always follow safety guidelines and regulations, including wearing personal protective equipment.Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including disposing of waste and materials properly.Collaborate with our team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectivelyInforming motorists regarding detoursCommunicating with other Flaggers and Construction Workers Using hand signals to direct trafficReport on negligent driversQualificationsStrong Work Ethic and 5 Years of Construction Related ExperiencePhysical stamina and ability to work in a physically demanding environmentFamiliarity with construction equipment and power tools.Basic knowledge of construction safety regulations and procedures.Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.Ability to lift and move heavy materials and equipment.ATSSA certificate (preferred)Colorado Flagger Certification (required at a minimum)Skills valued that will increase pay:Reliability: Showing up on time, every time.Construction laboring experiencePhysical staminaConstruction of safety knowledgePower tool operationTeamworkConstruction equipment operationHeavy liftingManual labor/Construction clean-upThis position offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience.
