You will sell a full portfolio of building technology solutions, focusing on power and cooling, building automation, smart buildings, data center infrastructure, physical security, and AV solutions using a consultative sales approach.Key ResponsibilitiesMeet or exceed monthly and annual sales goalsGenerate new business through prospecting, referrals, and relationship buildingGrow existing accounts through cross‑selling and upselling technology solutionsSell power and cooling solutions, building automation systems, smart building technologies, and related IT infrastructureOwn the entire sales cycle from discovery through closeConduct customer discovery to understand business needs and technical requirementsPresent and demonstrate integrated building technology solutions to multiple stakeholdersCollaborate with engineering, sales operations, and vendor partnersDevelop territory, account, and business plans to drive revenuePrepare proposals, presentations, and sales contractsMaintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and activity tracking in CRM toolsParticipate in ongoing training related to smart buildings, automation platforms, and emerging technologiesRequired Qualifications1–3 years of sales or business development experienceExperience selling or supporting:Building technology solutionsPower and cooling systemsBuilding automation or smart buildingsData center, security, AV, or low‑voltage technologies (preferred)Strong consultative and solution‑based sales skillsAbility to understand and communicate the business value of technologyExcellent verbal, written, and presentation skillsStrong organizational and time‑management skillsComfortable working cross‑functionally with technical teamsValid driver’s license and ability to travel locallyPreferred Qualifications (Nice To Have)Experience in smart building ecosystems or BAS platformsFamiliarity with data center infrastructure, physical security, or AV solutionsBackground in highly competitive environmentsCRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)Benefits & PerksMedical, Dental & Vision InsuranceCompany‑Paid Life & Long‑Term Disability Insurance401(k) & Roth Retirement Plans with Company MatchSponsored 529 College Savings PlanProfessional Development ReimbursementPaid Vacation, Sick Time & HolidaysMileage & Phone ReimbursementEmployee Engagement Events & Wellness ProgramsLocal travel required within the greater Houston area.DataVox Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
