Lead Appian Developer

We are seeking an experienced Lead Appian Developer to design, develop, and lead the delivery of enterprise BPM solutions on the Appian platform. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, mentor developers, and work closely with stakeholders to ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable Appian applications.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design, development, and implementation of solutions using Appian BPM Suite.Translate business requirements into Appian process models, records, reports, and interfaces.Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to define system requirements.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Appian developers.Design and implement integration solutions with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs.Drive best practices, code reviews, and design patterns for scalable and secure applications.Manage Appian configurations, deployments, and version upgrades.Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production and non-production environments.Prepare technical documentation and ensure solutions align with architectural guidelines.Required Skills & Qualifications8+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years in Appian BPM design and development.Expertise in Appian 21.x or later, Appian Designer, and Appian Plug-ins.Strong understanding of Appian Records, SAIL, CDTs, Process Models, Sites, and Reports.Proficiency in Appian integrations (REST, SOAP, JDBC, RDBMS).Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and working with DevOps/CI-CD pipelines.Ability to lead technical teams, mentor junior developers, and manage deliverables.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Preferred SkillsAppian Certified Lead Developer or Appian Certified Senior Developer.Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).Prior experience in enterprise BPM implementation in banking, insurance, or telecom sectors.
