POSITION SUMMARY:We currently have openings in the operations department for the following positions: (Shifts hours are from 5 pm -5 am)GBW Operator-Galvanizing before weaving• Move materials through the process tanks and zinc kettles • Align and secure holding fixtures, attachments, accessories, or materials on machines • Transfer metal into a furnace • Measure, examine, or test completed units to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments, such as micrometers • Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process • Maintain the surrounding area, keeping the area free of debris ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required Follow established safety procedures when performing tasks and/or working with equipment. Read work instructions and set up machines as required to run different product sizes. Stand or walk for the entire shift and use arms and back to perform the tasks associated with the role. Must be able to work overtime as required with Saturday availability. Requirements NECESSARY SKILLS, BACKGROUND & COMPETENCIES:Minimum one year of work experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Must be able to work in a team-based, positive, fast-paced environment. Must be able to understand written instructions and follow procedures. Must be able and willing to work 5 PM-5 AM MON-SAT. Employees average at least 40 hours a week, no more than 50.
