JOB OVERVIEW• Job Title: Vascular Surgeon• Job Type: Full-Time• Location: Carrollton and Villa Rica, Georgia• Service Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient• Coverage Type: TBDPATIENT INFORMATION• Patient Demographics: Adult patients requiring vascular surgical care• Case Mix: Vascular surgery including facility-appropriate OR and cath lab proceduresFACILITY INFORMATION• Reason for Coverage: Expansion of current team; currently 3 Vascular Surgeons and 1 Nurse PractitionerPRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes, at Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton and Villa RicaCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS• Rate: Competitive• Comprehensive Health BenefitsREQUIRED PROCEDURES• Vascular surgical procedures performed in OR and cath lab settingsJOB REQUIREMENTS• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical or osteopathic school• Board certified or board eligible in Vascular Surgery• RPVI credential preferred• Unrestricted Georgia medical license or eligibility to obtain one• Must be willing to relocate to Carrollton/Carroll County areaDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES• Shared call at Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton (1:3 weekly/weekend)• Outpatient clinic coverage in Carrollton and Villa Rica• Access to OR and cath lab in both locations for appropriate casesCOMMUNITY INFO The city is a short drive to a downtown International Airport in Georgia.
