Role Description We are seeking a full-time Director of Proposals to lead and oversee our proposal development efforts. This hybrid role is based in Tysons Corner, VA, with opportunities to work remotely part of the time. The Director of Proposals will manage the proposal process from start to finish, including coordinating cross-functional teams, creating high-quality content, ensuring compliance with client requirements, and meeting deadlines. The role also involves developing proposal strategies, analyzing Request for Proposals (RFPs), and identifying opportunities to enhance proposal submissions and win rates. Additionally, the Director will provide mentorship to proposal team members and implement best practices across all proposal activities. Qualifications Strong experience in Proposal Writing, Content Creation, and Technical WritingProficiency in Proposal Development and Management, with a deep understanding of government and corporate RFP processesStrategic Planning, Leadership, and Collaboration skills for managing cross-functional teamsAttention to detail, Editing, and Quality Assurance capabilitiesProficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management softwareExcellent project management skills with the ability to work within tight deadlinesPrior experience in business development or a related field is a plusBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, English, or a related field
