We provide an integrated system of healthcare experts committed to providing exceptional care.ResponsibilitiesThe meds-to-beds pharmacy technician serves as the main point of contact between patients, floorstaffand the retail pharmacy. In this position, the pharmacy technician manages the meds-to-bed process, from patient identification and enrollment to delivering medications at the bedside and collecting payment. The meds-to-beds technician will enhance communication with staff, improve patient satisfaction, grow clinical staff buy-in, and increase discharge prescription capture rates. The meds-to-beds pharmacy technician will be cross-trained to support the retail pharmacy by performing routine tasks within the pharmacy during peak hours. Assistspharmacy team in total prescription filling process; data entry, inventory monitoring, counting, labeling, ordering, stocking, filing, and selling of prescribed and OTC products. Coordinates care with a multi-disciplinary team, communicates directly with patients and caregivers to ensuretimelyandaccuratefilling of prescriptions and documentation asrequired. Comply withstate and federal drug laws.
