Attractive pay Generous insurance package: medical starting at just $26/week, free dental option, prescription coverage, vision plan, and company-paid $25k life insurance policy Voluntary benefits: accident coverage, disability, critical illness, hospital plan, and more 401K with generous company match Time off with pay: 7 holidays, vacation (up to 3 weeks), sick (40 hours per year) Growth opportunities Long-term employment Summary:The BIM Designer’s main responsibility is to produce high-quality BIM models and shop drawings for use in precast manufacturing and construction.Understand precast design and detailingUse BIM modeling software to model and detail precast componentsProduce precast shop drawings for approval and fabricationCoordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop building designsWork with an in-house team of project managers and project engineers following company standard processesCheck precast shop drawings for conformance with contract drawings and specificationsHelp create and improve BIM standardsProficiency with Revit, Tekla, or other BIM softwareWork within a small team structure, alongside multiple teams across various departmentsRead and understand shop drawingsIdentify and solve construction issues effectivelyStrong oral and written communication skillsStrong CAD and/or BIM skills requiredAbility to take charge, pursue excellence, and work with a high-performing team1-3 years of relevant work experience detailing precast, concrete, or steelExperience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and AutoCAD preferredAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus
