Our committed and well-trained workforce professionals deliver comprehensive workforce solutions at integrated career centers, sector-focused centers and community, and partner sites.Job DescriptionOversees caseload of customers to ensure positive outcomesProvides intake services for applicants seeking subsidized child care servicesAccepts and coordinates referrals for child care from authorized referral sourcesDetermines, verifies, and documents eligibility and notifies parents of their eligibility statusEnrolls categorically eligible children as authorized by the Board, the Workforce Center operator, other workforce services providers and staffPromotes and ensures parental compliance with the terms of the Personal Responsibility Agreement, invoking sanctions as warrantedEnrolls children in child care settings, as appropriateAuthorizes payment to eligible parents presenting appropriate qualifying documentation - Assesses parent feesImplements client service, fund utilization, enrollment, and service priority strategiesExplains parents' rights and responsibilities and explains attendance responsibilitiesTracks attendance and services utilization - Refers suspected fraud or misuse to the appropriate resourceEnters client and case eligibility, demographic, and service information into the designated systemAssists and prepares responses for quality assurance monitoringProvides process informational support/instruction to parents as neededMay coordinate the recruitment, processing, and monitoring of local area relative providersOther duties as assignedQualificationsThree years directly related progressively responsible work experience or equivalent combinations thereofExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong management and organizational skillsAbility to work across all levels of management and staffMust be knowledgeable about community resourcesAbility to work with and relate to clientsCultural sensitivity a mustMust be computer literate and have Microsoft Word and Excel skills at a minimum with the ability to learn specialized databases and software systemsAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Auxiliary aids and services are available upon request to individuals with disabilities.Relay Texas: 1.800.735.2989 (TDD) 1.800.735.2988 (voice) or 711Equus Workforce Solutions is a leading provider of workforce development services in North America.
