Paraprofessional- Instructional Support (K-5)

The Instructional Support Paraprofessional works with teachers and the principal to support student learning across multiple settings. This position provides small group instruction, assists in classrooms, supports/leads enrichment areas such as art and maker space, and helps with general classroom and campus needs.Work with small groups of students to reinforce skills in reading, math, and othersubjectsSupport classroom teachers with instruction, activities, and student needsInstructs students in art, maker space, and other enrichment areasHelp prepare materials for instruction, including making copies and organizingsuppliesMonitor and support students during transitions and activitiesProvide individual support to students as neededHelp maintain a positive, structured, and engaging learning environmentAssist with classroom organization and setupSupport student behavior expectations and redirection as neededSupervise students in various settings (classroom, hallway, cafeteria, playground)Communicate effectively with teachers and staffMaintain confidentiality of student informationContact:Tammy PayneBruceville-Eddy ISDTammy.payne@beisd.net
