About The RoleAre you an enthusiastic and passionate person who is committed to improving the outcomes for Children, Young People and families who are effected by substance use in Harrow? Do you want to join our innovative and dynamic team of harm reduction staff delivering Harrows Children's and Young Persons (CYP) substance use service?We are delighted to be able to offer the opportunity to lead one of our drug teams in London Harrow .As a Team Leader, you will lead and manage staff within the Harrow team. You will be required to line manage staff to deliver a range of support services, brief interventions, specialist interventions, engagement work and proactive health initiatives around harm reduction. You will need to be able to work both independently and as part of a multi-agency team around the CYP.You will provide professional leadership, management and support to practitioners so that they can deliver efficient, effective and safe, drug related services.This is an all year-round contract and working hours are Mon – Fri, 37 hours per week with some early evening and weekend working if required to meet the needs of the service.About YouHolding a relevant qualification in substance misuse/youth work/psychology/counselling/ mental health/social care, you will also:Have experience of working with at risk/vulnerable young people in a community settingBe able to deliver behaviour change support, including group workBe knowledgeable about: safeguarding children, confidentiality, consent and mental capacity and Hidden HarmAdopt a flexible approach to work – hours and locationsTo apply, you will need to download and complete our application form.
