East Portland Surgery Center is one of Portland's leading multi-specialty surgery centers, performing cases in pain management, GI, general surgery, orthopedics, urology, plastics, ophthalmology, gynecology, ENT & Spine. Our facility is accredited by Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).Job SummaryThe Registered Nurse Procedure Room is responsible for all patient care in the Procedure Room and working with the physician to deliver a successful procedure and outcome for the patient.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Include The Following:Managing procedure room(s) to ensure the rooms are prepped and ready for patients, including room turnovers, stocking supplies, cleaning, etc.Administers medication as ordered by physician, following the Moderate Sedation policySafely monitors and documents care of patients undergoing Moderate Sedation in accordance with policy and procedure and guidelines of care.Monday-Friday work scheduleNO call requiredNO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hoursUSPI offers the following benefits, subject to employment status:Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurancePaid time off (vacation & sick leave) - Starting PTO accrual is 15 days per year.401k retirement planPaid holidaysHealth savings accounts, healthcare & dependent flexible spending accountsEmployee Assistance program, Employee discount programVoluntary benefits include pet insurance, legal insurance, accident and critical illness insurance, long term care, elder & childcare, AD&D, auto & home insurance.Required Skills:Graduate of an accredited RN School of NursingActive RN license and can practice in Oregon2 + years experience in Procedure Room4+ years RN experienceExperience in basic and advanced procedures and IV sedation experienceExperience with medical outpatient proceduresBLS and ACLS accredited by AHA requiredAbility to make decisions based on nursing judgmentAble to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unitStrong communication skills, verbal and writtenWho We Are We are part of a much larger team with United Surgical Partners International (USPI).
