Event Manager (Spring)

Martinsville HS seeks quality candidates to serve as Event Manager for the Spring of 2026. The event manager position is seasonal and pays $1240. Applicants must successfully pass a background check.MSD of Martinsville Mission:We work together, we challenge and inspire our children through rich experiences, empowering them to achieve success while making positive contributions to our world.Job Summary and Requirements:Provide leadership and guidance for a school club or extracurricular organization, ensuring a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for student participation. Plan, organize, and oversee club activities, meetings, and events; encourage student involvement and leadership development; manage materials, equipment, and budgets as needed; and maintain accurate records of participation and accomplishments. Foster positive relationships with students, families, and school staff, and collaborate with administration to align club activities with school policies and goals. The position requires the ability to remain emotionally stable, exercise sound judgment, and maintain professional composure while managing multiple responsibilities and responding appropriately to student needs and unexpected situations.
