Minimum two years of successful experience in executive support, or administrative coordination; human resources, school district experience preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in office technology including word processing, spreadsheets (Excel), and district data systems; Qmaltiv experience preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Criminal Justice fingerprint clearance required.REQUIREMENTS:Strong organization, prioritization, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced, high-interruption environment.Ability to work independently and handle sensitive matters with discretion.Effective problem-solving and interpersonal skills.Understanding of district, state, and federal HR policies and education labor relations.Commitment to professional growth and flexibility in adapting to changing needs.Demonstrated excellence in customer service and maintaining a professional work environment.Maintain appropriate physical condition and health status necessary to perform duties and responsibilities as assigned.Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Provide comprehensive administrative coordination and confidential support to all Cabinet members.Assist Human Resource with verification of employment, and other verification documents (e.g., Sexual Misconduct Release).Assist the Public Records Officers with compiling, redacting, and answering public records requests.Maintain personnel records in compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.Assist with helping members of the public when they enter the District Office Building.Answer the District's mainline phone and direct the public to the correct departments.Assist HR with Vector Training System.Draft and distribute professional correspondence and reports; manage supplemental contract tracking.Schedule, attend, and record minutes for Cabinet and department-led meetings.Support the processing of Superintendent- or Cabinet-level grievances, complaints, and investigations as directed.Serve as liaison to legal counsel, outside agencies, or internal departments for assigned Cabinet members.Monitor projects or program components for compliance with administrative, fiscal, and legal requirements.Communicate district policies and HR-related guidelines to staff and the public as needed.Maintain high-level confidentiality in all aspects of personnel, bargaining, and administrative matters.Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodationProvide backup coverage and support to other administrative staff and office functions as assigned.Follow School Board policies and procedures.RESPONSIBLE TO: District Cabinet MembersSCHEDULE: Tumwater School District CalendarSALARY: Tumwater School District Salary ScheduleCONTACT: Human Resources - 360-709-7020REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION: The Tumwater School District will provide reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and applicable Washington State law.
