Job DescriptionAs a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer within the Integrated Supply Chain Supplier Readiness casting and forgings organization here at Honeywell, you will lead and manage advanced manufacturing operations to drive operational excellence, process optimization, and innovation in our manufacturing processes.You will report directly to our Director Supplier Development Engineer, and you’ll work out of our South Bend, IN location on a remote work schedule.In this role, you will impact the company by developing and implementing advanced manufacturing strategies, leading cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, improve product quality, and drive cost efficiencies within our external casting and forging supply chainAt Honeywell, our people leaders play a critical role in developing and supporting our employees to help themperform at their best and drive change across the company. Help to build a strong, diverse team by recruiting talent, identifying, and developing successors,driving retention and engagement, and fostering an inclusive cultureKey ResponsibilitiesLead and manage advanced manufacturing operations to drive operational excellence and process optimization associated to external casting and forging suppliers Develop and implement advanced manufacturing strategies to enhance productivity and improve product qualityLead cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and achieve operational goalsIdentify and implement advanced manufacturing technologies to drive innovation and cost efficienciesCollaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectivesAnalyze manufacturing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actionsManage and allocate resources effectively to meet production targetsEnsure compliance with safety regulations and industry standardsYOU MUST HAVEBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematicsExtensive experience in advanced manufacturing engineering and process optimization with 3+ years of experience working in casting manufacturingStrong knowledge of advanced manufacturing technologies, such as automation, robotics, and additive manufacturingProven track record of driving operational excellence and process improvementsExcellent leadership and people management skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively in cross-functional teamsWE VALUEMaster’s or Ph.D. degree in Engineering or related field10+ years of manufacturing experience in castings (sand, investment, fine grain, cored, aluminum, magnesium, Inconel, stainless steel, iron, titanium, etc) Tier 1 or 2 aerospace, industrial gas turbine or automotive supply chain experienceExpertise in implementing advanced manufacturing technologies and processesAbility to think strategically and drive change in a dynamic environmentStrong project management skillsKnowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in advanced manufacturingCommitment to continuous learning and professional developmentAbility to mentor and develop junior engineersQualifications ABOUT HONEYWELL Honeywell International Inc.
