Technical Program Manager We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to drive complex, high-impact engineering programs across multiple teams. This role is ideal for a technically strong program leader who can operate independently, engage deeply with engineering and architecture teams, and translate complex technical initiatives into clear, achievable execution plans.
Day-to-Day Lead multiple technical programs across engineering teams using Agile delivery models.
Break complex initiatives into actionable workstreams, milestones, and sprint plans.
Partner with engineers, architects, product managers, and business stakeholders on technical strategy and delivery.
Drive programs involving cloud-native platforms, APIs, microservices, integrations, and distributed systems.
Manage cross-team dependencies, risks, issues, milestones, and delivery commitments.
Develop execution plans covering architecture, development, testing, deployment, and production readiness.
Facilitate technical discussions and challenge delivery strategies, tradeoffs, and assumptions.
Track program health using data, metrics, and continuous improvement practices.
Communicate program status, risks, decisions, and dependencies to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
Identify opportunities to leverage existing platforms, capabilities, and infrastructure to accelerate delivery.
Drive alignment across dependent teams and influence outcomes without direct authority.
Must-Have Skills & Experience Strong experience in Technical Program Management / Engineering Program Management.
Experience delivering cloud-native software products or platforms at scale.
Strong understanding of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with microservices, APIs, distributed systems, and platform architecture.
Hands-on understanding of software development and testing.
Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and modern software delivery practices.
Strong experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, sprint planning, and iterative delivery.
Proven ability to manage complex programs spanning multiple engineering teams and dependencies.
Ability to engage deeply with engineers and architects and understand technical tradeoffs.
Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence engineers, peers, business leaders, and executives.
Demonstrated ability to operate independently and drive outcomes with minimal direction.
Nice-to-Have Experience in payments, fintech, financial services, or transaction processing.
Experience with IaaS, PaaS, or serverless technologies.
Knowledge of NoSQL databases.
Experience with Kubernetes / containers and cloud infrastructure.
Experience with event-driven or highly distributed architectures.
Experience with large-scale platform engineering or infrastructure programs.
Experience with observability, reliability, SRE, or distributed systems operations.
Experience driving continuous improvement across multiple engineering organizations.
Education Requirement Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
Equivalent technical education and relevant professional experience may be considered.
Ideal Background Candidates with a background as a Technical Program Manager, Senior Technical Program Manager, Principal TPM, Engineering Program Manager, or Platform/Cloud Program Manager are encouraged to apply.

A reasonable, good faith estimate of the hourly range for this position is $70-$75/hour on W2.
