A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - NICU Job Details: • Work 3x12 night shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week • Minimum 3 years exclusive NICU experience in level 3 NICU or higher required • Must be ventilator trained • Required certifications: BLS, NRP • Must obtain and maintain Nevada Registered Nurse license prior to hire • Call requirements to be discussed during interview • Required to pick up one additional shift during schedule period • May be required to float to other units based on competency level • Schedule varies based on department needs and includes weekends, holidays, and some call shifts • Facility has right to call off without penalty with 48 hours notice for low census (may be full or partial shifts) • Provide comprehensive nursing services utilizing the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation • Coordinate care between other healthcare professionals as needed • Must demonstrate cognitive and psychosocial needs specific to patient population served Facility: This healthcare facility is the region's only Level II Trauma Center, serving as the most advanced medical care facility in the area.
