Remote Sales Associate

Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our consulting team and serve our Houston, TX based client. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for customer service and a strong ability to engage with customers, ensuring they have a positive shopping experience. As a Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in driving sales and maintaining brand standards. Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service via phone and email by greeting customers and assisting them with their needs. Operate POS and CRM systems efficiently, ensuring accurate bill handling and transaction processing. Demonstrate product knowledge through engaging product conversations that highlight features and benefits to customers. Utilize retail math skills to assist in inventory management and sales reporting. Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations. Supervise junior staff as needed, providing guidance and support in their roles. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and courtesy. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or a similar customer-facing role is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems, credit card and cash handling procedures is essential. Strong phone etiquette for handling customer calls or inquiries is required. Ability to demonstrate products effectively and engage customers in conversation about their needs. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced retail environment.
