Electronic Assembler – SolderingLocation: Austin, TX (Dessau Area)Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM–2:00 AM (4/10 schedule; Fridays off)Work Arrangement: 100% onsitePay Rate: $23.00–$29.70/hour (W-2)Overtime: ExpectedTravel: NoneCitizenship: U.S. Citizenship requiredSecurity Clearance: Not requiredPosition OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Electronic Assembler with strong hand-soldering experience to support the assembly, inspection, and rework of advanced electronic and electromechanical products. This role requires consistent onsite collaboration and work in a clean-room production environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble, disassemble, modify, and inspect electronic and electromechanical subassemblies according to work instructions, process plans, drawings, and schematics.Perform hand soldering, rework, connector installation, tack bonding, and epoxy application.Inspect parts and materials for defects before use and perform self-inspection of completed work.Use fixturing to build assemblies accurately.Operate solder reflow ovens, semi-automatic pick-and-place equipment, automated measurement systems, AOI equipment, and AXI/X-ray inspection equipment as needed.Maintain high standards of production accuracy, quality, and documentation.Use basic computer systems for MRP, data collection, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.Work independently and collaboratively while adapting to changing production needs.Required QualificationsTwo years of high school or trade school education.Hands-on soldering experience.Ability to read and interpret work instructions, drawings, schematics, blueprints, and process plans.Strong attention to detail, quality, and accuracy.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work successfully in a team environment and become solder-certified.Comfortable working the required 2nd-shift 4/10 schedule.Preferred QualificationsHand soldering, rework, mechanical assembly, and tack-bond/epoxy experience.Experience working to IPC Class 3 standards.IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certifications or training; J-STD modules 1, 3, and 6 preferred.Experience with selective soldering and high-volume wave soldering.AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) and AXI/X-ray inspection experience.Surface-mount technology and pick-and-place equipment experience.Experience in a clean-room or high-reliability electronics manufacturing environment.\nCompany Descriptionaerospace and defence PCBCompany Descriptionaerospace and defence PCB
