We 'listen' to our customers and employees and implement 'workable solutions' in order to improve service-delivery.Security 1 Solutions will continue to seek new and innovative methods to achieve our vision, our mission and goals.Job DetailsPart time position requires working a combination of two days, with a minimum of 16 hours per week, typically on the weekends.The Contract Security Officer Supervisor position requires the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of individuals, including members of the general public, Department of Defense personnel, and all ranks of military, civilians, and visitors.The duties and responsibilities are as followed, but not limited to:Security of building(s)Identification of all visitors and guestsProtection of physical assetsAnti-terrorism and force protectionMaintaining logs via written or electronicMaintaining and carrying a firearmAdhere and uphold SOP Standards.This position is under the direct supervision of the site Captain.Candidate Qualifications:Must be a U.S. CitizenMust Be 21 years of ageMust be high school/GED graduateThree to five years security supervisor experienceMust posses a Secret or Top Secret clearance issued by the DODMust have one of the following:Three years security experience ORThree years of military service (active duty or reserve) with and honorable discharge ORAn Associates Degree or at least 60 semester hours of college coursework in any field of study ORSuccessful completion of Police Officer's Standard Training (POST) course.Maryland Guard Card and Wear and Carry License Required!Armed DCJS License Required!Additional Eligibility Qualifications:The applicant is required to submit to pre-employment medical exam and drug screening.The applicant must be able to pass an NCIC / State / Local Background check and Credit check.The applicant must be able to attend and complete all required training prior to assignment.The applicant must be able to successfully complete a Physical Agility Test.The applicant must be able to successfully complete a Firearms Qualification.AAP/EEO StatementThe Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has issued guidance referencing employers are allowed to mandate COVID-19 vaccinations for in-person employees.
