Job Opening - Proposal Administrator
Job DescriptionThe Proposal Administrator is responsible for working with the Proposal Manager (PM) to ensure timely and accurate responses to customer RFQs. This entails processing the RFQ, analyzing the RFQ requirements, deadlines and assisting with specific tasks as instructed by the Proposal Manager. The Proposal Administrator will be responsible to work closely with the PM on all proposal activities (e.g., preparation of bills of materials, procurement cost estimates, labor cost estimates, manufacturing plans, etc.) to ensure that bid(s) are submitted per customer requirements. The Proposal Administrator will assist in all aspects of the proposal process. Other duties as assigned.Essential FunctionsAnalyze supplier quotes receivedCollect appropriate data from various internal departments to prepare pricingOversee the use of & access to internal ftp sitesManage the commercial and government quotes logEnsure the flow of work meets the customer's requirements in terms of schedule and quality expectationsProvide management reports as necessary Qualifications0-2 years experienceBachelor's Degree, preferably in a field such as Business, Finance, Accounting or Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience in ERP systems within a manufacturing environment INFOR XA a plus.Strong numerical analysis skills and be able to communicate the results of such analyses both verbally and in written form.Work well in a team environment and be able to communicate clear instructions and schedules to team members so that proposals can be prepared as efficiently as possibleSuperior time management skills and be comfortable with handling multiple assignments at the same time, prioritizing the assignments and delegating work to othersThe salary range for this position is : $64,350-$75,000. Actual compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and other factors allowed by law.
