Our projects range from 4,000 to over 20,000 square feet and are defined by craftsmanship, precision, and an uncompromising client experience.We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Assistant Estimator/Purchaser to support our Senior Estimator and play a key role in preconstruction and procurement. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to grow within a high-performing custom home builder.What You'll DoAs an Assistant Estimator/Purchaser, you will support the estimating and purchasing process from concept through construction:Estimating & PreconstructionAssist in developing accurate, well-organized cost estimatesPerform quantity take-offs from plans and specificationsSupport value engineering efforts through detailed cost comparisonsPrice owner selections, upgrades, and scope changesPurchasing & ContractsPrepare and issue subcontracts and purchase ordersSolicit, review, and level subcontractor/vendor bidsMaintain and strengthen relationships with subcontractors and suppliersProject SupportTrack and manage change orders throughout the project lifecycleEnsure pricing accuracy and alignment with project budgetsCollaborate with internal teams to maintain project flow and cost controlWhat We're Looking ForCore Qualifications2-3 years of experience in residential construction estimating, purchasing, or related fieldOR recent graduate with a degree in Construction Management or similar are encouraged to applyAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesProficiency in Microsoft ExcelPreferred ExperienceFamiliarity with tools such as Sage 100 Contractor, Procore, Bluebeam, or OnScreen TakeoffExperience working with custom or luxury residential projectsExposure to subcontractor bidding and procurement processesSuccess TraitsDetail-oriented and highly accountableProactive, self-starter mindsetStrong communication and team collaboration skillsDesire to learn and grow within the construction industryCompensation & BenefitsBase Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 (commensurate with experience)Health insurancePaid time offProfit-sharing programStable, long-term career growth with an established builderWork EnvironmentFull-time, in-office roleMonday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMLocation: 7045 S.
