Tax ManagerLocation: Memphis, TN (Hybrid)OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of an enterprise-level tax function. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate tax reporting, maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and supporting strategic tax planning initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in tax accounting, leadership experience, and the ability to partner across multiple business functions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage day-to-day tax operations across the organizationOversee preparation and timely filing of federal tax forms, including Forms 990 and 990TCollaborate with internal stakeholders and external advisors to ensure compliance and accuracyProvide strategic tax guidance to leadership, including planning for regulatory changes and organizational initiativesSupervise and mentor tax staff, fostering professional development and team performanceReview tax-related documentation, including journal entries, reconciliations, and filingsEnsure compliance with gaming and prize-related tax requirementsManage outsourced sales and use tax processes and ensure adherence to state regulationsServe as a key advisor on tax-related matters impacting organizational strategy and riskRequired QualificationsBachelors degree in Accounting or FinanceCPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification required58 years of progressive experience in tax accountingStrong understanding of GAAP and federal, state, and local tax regulationsProven ability to manage multiple priorities and work independentlyDemonstrated leadership experience with the ability to develop and mentor team membersStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsDetail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindsetPreferred QualificationsMasters degree in Accounting, Tax, or a related fieldExperience working in a nonprofit or complex enterprise environmentHow to ApplyIf you are interested in this opportunity, please submit your resume for confidential consideration.
