This role is responsible for leading all areas of safety and sanitation compliance at the location. Sanitation is a key priority, and the ideal candidate will be a health, safety, and sanitation champion who is focused on people and quality standards.Responsibilities:Provides leadership, training and oversight for all food handling personnel on property including all culinary, service and managementOversight for all sanitation proceduresWorks with the staff to ensure regular cleaning and sanitation of all:Foodservice hand tools and service wareRefrigeration and freezersHot holding equipmentEnsures compliance and high grades from county health inspections and internal company and third-party auditsPerforms regular physical audits and inspections of all foodservice and food handling areas of the propertyDaily: High volume production areas such as main kitchens, preparation areas and warehousesWeekly: Remote pantries and food staging areasEnsures that all following are filled outTime and temperature logsRefrigerator and freezer logsMaintains a systematic and well-ordered history of all required logs in compliance with government and company regulations, ready to present to management and inspectors as requiredObserve, monitor and train staff to ensure proper food handling, sanitation, hand wash and glove useWorks with warehouse, purchasing and receiving personnel to ensure that all products received are at the correct temperatures and have been handled according to company policies and government regulationsEnsure that correct sanitation products are purchased, in inventory and being usedPrepares and files regular inspection reports with the Director of Operations and Executive ChefPerform additional tasks as neededRequired Skills/AbilitiesAttention to detail and organized.Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same timeExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience working in a fast-paced food and beverage environmentHealth, safety, and sanitation background preferredAbility to obtain Food Handler card, if not already obtainedAbility to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasksAbility to lift and move up to 25 poundsBenefits:Shift pay available for football game shifts.Flexible schedulingFood ProvidedPotential opportunities for travelReady to bring your positive energy to our team?
