This role is ideal for an attorney who regularly advises developers, property owners, and investors on complex real estate and development matters and is comfortable working closely with local municipalities and regulatory agencies.Key Responsibilities:Advise clients on land use, zoning, and entitlement mattersHandle zoning approvals, variances, special exceptions, and site plan approvalsRepresent clients before planning boards, zoning boards, and municipal commissionsDraft and negotiate development-related agreements and real estate documentsConduct due diligence related to zoning, land use regulations, and permittingCollaborate with developers, engineers, architects, and government officialsMonitor changes in zoning laws, land use regulations, and local ordinancesQualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolActive member of the Florida Bar in good standingMinimum of 5 + years of experience practicing real estate law with a focus on land use and zoningStrong knowledge of Florida land use laws and local Miami-Dade zoning regulationsExperience representing developers and real estate investors preferredExcellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skillsAbility to manage matters independently and work in a fast-paced environment Compensation:Competitive and commensurate with experienceComprehensive benefits package available
