Registered Nurse (RN) | Registered Nurse First Assistant Location: Covington, LA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,424 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 12 Weeks Start Date: 5/25/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse First Assist Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: RNFA Duration: 12 months Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:30 - 16:30 Experience: Minimum 5 years in specialty required. Previous charge experience required. Relevant patient ratio experience required. License: Compact or state license in hand upon submission. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, AWHONN Intermediate required for L&D RN, CPI required for specific roles. Must-Have: Ability to use the Terumo system for endoscopic vein and radial artery harvesting. Description: On-call availability is required. Must have experience as a first assist in cardiovascular surgery with vein and radial harvesting experience. Floating to additional facilities is required. Candidates must be over 65 miles from the facility as local travelers are not accepted. Two years of experience in specialty is required for all locations. Candidates must ensure their references are available for verification. Candidates must provide updated licensure reports. It is essential to communicate any requests for time off during the interview. Charge nurses are not acceptable candidates. Modules are billable and will be completed during orientation. Candidates must ensure compliance with all required certifications and licensure updates. Resources who have worked as permanent staff must be separated from previous positions for one full year before returning. Clearance to start the contract requires management references.
