What To ExpectThe ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on maintenance and/or engineering experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment with expertise in a wide variety of technical subjects. They will also have a strong desire to help build and maintain a world class training program in a dynamic industry-defining organization. This subject matter expert will have a passion for teaching others and achieving excellence through instruction and mentoring programs. This instructor will support our Manufacturing Development Program (MDP).Shift: 07:00AM - 03:30PM and 12:30PM - 09:00PM; Monday - FridayWhat You'll DoDevelop high quality, engaging technical content and lab exercises on a wide variety of applications (basic and advanced) in concert with other manufacturing development instructors and college faculty/staff Effectively/enthusiastically deliver equipment specific training to Manufacturing Development Apprentices in the classroom using a variety of presentation formats including Instructor-Led, Facilitative group learning, active hands-on learning, and functional assessments Design and deliver high quality learner evaluations with written and hands-on assessmentsProvide comprehensive schedule management and tracking of learner’s completed and required training in Tesla specific Learning Management software system, as requiredWork cross-functionally with Training Systems and Development team to manage content storage and identify and track measures-of-success metricsSupport student learning outcomes assessment processes by teaching toward approved student learning outcomes and assessing student performanceAssist with curriculum review, revision and creation and aid in the development of new course materials and innovative instructional techniques that promote student learning and retain students to completionWhat You'll BringAssociate's Degree in Advanced Manufacturing, Industrial Technology or closely related field from an accredited institution or equivalent experienceSix months working in an advanced manufacturing training or industrial environment. Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers and advanced manufacturing equipment preferredProfessional experience in manufacturing, or related technical fields.
