Level 2 Electrical Technicians

STS Technical Services is hiring Level 2 Electrical Technicians in San Antonio, Texas. This role supports aircraft electrical modification, repair and assembly work, including connector terminations, wire harness routing, electrical inspections and depot-level wiring support.If you have hands-on experience with aircraft electrical assemblies, wire bundles, engineering drawings and technical work instructions, we encourage you to apply.Position OverviewLevel 2 Electrical Technicians will perform aircraft electrical assembly, installation, inspection, modification and repair tasks in accordance with engineering drawings, technical orders, process specifications and retrofit requirements. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow standard work instructions and the flexibility to support changing mission requirements.Required QualificationsPerform connector terminations including shielded wires, coaxial cables and fiber optic wiringUnderstand routing instructions and proper handling of harnessesPerform sealing, wrapping, bonding, tying and closure of wire harnesses and cables in accordance with standard processesPerform assembly, installation, visual inspection of physical characteristics, modification of wire bundles and electrical assemblies, operational checks and quality checks of aircraftRead and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specifications and retrofit requirements to perform electrical modifications and repairsUse tooling assemblies and fixtures for depot-level modification and repair of electrical wiringInterpret standard work instructions, charts, tables, blueprints, wire diagrams, formulas, sketches, verbal orders and electronic ordersInterpret job layouts and related technical documentationUse all equipment in accordance with established safety and operating proceduresPerform all tasks involved in the coordination, preparation and movement of material and toolsMaintain necessary Boeing-administered certifications, licenses and permits as required for assigned workMust be able to work various shifts and/or an alternate baseline schedule that may frequently change to support mission requirementsSchedule may include weekends and holidaysMission requirements and/or workload may require scheduled and unscheduled overtimePreferred QualificationsAbility to operate riding-type electric powered elevating equipment to complete work assignmentsAbility to troubleshoot organizational and depot maintenance level malfunctions in aircraft electrical systemsAuthorizationCandidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.About STS Technical ServicesSTS Technical Services is a Top 100 Staffing Firm that partners with some of the largest names in aerospace, manufacturing, defense and industrial industries.
