Bartender PositionWe are seeking a skilled and efficient Bartender to join our high-volume Italian restaurant. This role requires expertise in bar management, craft cocktail creation, and inventory control, with a strong ability to perform under pressure. The ideal candidate delivers fast, consistent service while maintaining high-quality standards and enhancing the guest dining experience through beverage knowledge and hospitality.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and serve beverages quickly and accurately in a high-volume environment, including classic cocktails, Italian aperitifs, wine, and beerDevelop and maintain a curated cocktail menu featuring Italian-inspired and seasonal offeringsDemonstrate strong knowledge of Italian wines, amari, aperitivi, and digestivi; provide pairing recommendations to complement menu itemsManage bar inventory, including ordering, stock rotation, tracking usage, and minimizing wasteOversee daily bar operations, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety standardsMaintain consistency in drink quality and presentation during peak service hoursTrain and support bar staff on recipes, service standards, and efficient workflowCollaborate with kitchen and management teams to align beverage offerings with seasonal menus and specialsMonitor beverage costs and contribute to profitability through effective inventory and portion controlProvide exceptional hospitality, engaging guests while maintaining speed of serviceQualificationsProven experience as a Bartender in a high-volume restaurant environmentStrong knowledge of Italian wines, spirits, and traditional cocktails (e.g., Negroni, Aperol Spritz, Espresso Martini)Experience with cocktail menu development and bar program executionSolid understanding of inventory management and cost control practicesAbility to multitask and maintain composure in a fast-paced settingExcellent communication and teamwork skillsPreferred QualificationsCertification in bartending or hospitality managementExperience with Italian beverage programs or cuisine-focused restaurantsFamiliarity with POS systems and inventory management softwarePhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and move quickly for extended periodsAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbsAbility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
