Cloud Networking ArchitectLocation: New York / New JerseyMust-Have Skills (Critical)Recent hands-on experience with Aviatrix (preferably within the last 3 years)14+ years of overall IT experienceStrong expertise in Terraform Infrastructure as Code (IaC)Deep knowledge of AWS and Azure networkingExperience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub ActionsSolid understanding of cloud networking concepts, including IP addressing, CIDR planning, routing, segmentation, and hybrid connectivityRole OverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced Cloud Networking Architect to design and deliver a scalable, reusable Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) framework using Terraform to automate network deployments across AWS and Azure, with a strong focus on Aviatrix-managed environments.This role requires a balanced mix of cloud and networking expertise (approximately 60% cloud and 40% networking) to build modular Terraform components for provisioning and managing transit gateways, spoke gateways, VPC/VNet constructs, routing, and security configurations.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop reusable Terraform modules for Aviatrix network infrastructure.Automate deployment and maintenance of transit gateways, spoke gateways, VPCs/VNets, and associated routing and security policies.Build infrastructure workflows to support both greenfield deployments and enhancements to existing environments.Integrate Terraform code into GitHub repositories following branching, version control, and code review best practices.Develop automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to validate, plan, and apply infrastructure changes.Establish naming conventions, tagging standards, and Terraform state management strategies, including remote backends and state locking.Create clear documentation for modules, workflows, and operational procedures to support long-term scalability.Required Technical SkillsAviatrix architecture and multi-cloud networking patternsTerraform and Infrastructure as Code best practicesAWS and Azure networking servicesGitHub and GitHub ActionsCI/CD automationHybrid connectivity (VPN, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute)Routing, segmentation, and network security controlsPreferred ExperienceEnterprise-scale cloud network automationMulti-environment deployments (development, staging, production)Collaboration with DevOps, Cloud Engineering, and Network Operations teams
