If you're passionate, positive and hard-working, we'd love to have you join our team!Part-Time, Assistant Supervisor, RidesWater Country USAWhat you get to do:Ensure a safe environment for all team members, guests, and animalsResponsible for the development of OJT's and ambassadors by providing training, feedback and coaching.Ensure compliance to all state/federal regulations, park policies, and department proceduresEnsure ambassadors receive break and meal periods in accordance with company policy and applicable law.Maintain the highest level of cleanliness in the park, conduct quality inspections of assigned areas, and follow up on any opportunities to improveMaintain inventory and stock/replace areas supplies and equipment as neededConduct equipment and safety checks in compliance with department and company standardsAttend to ambassadors and follow park protocol in emergency situationsRespond to ambassador and guest needsMaintain training documentation, auditing, schedules and generation of regular reports.Communicate effectively with other areas within the department as well as other departments in the parkTrack information to complete daily and weekly reportsReport to Supervisors and Managers regarding the status of projects and completed assignmentsWhat it takes to succeed:Valid state driver's licenseMust be at least 16 years of age or olderAble to complete provided CPR/AED training/certificationAble to be trained and certified at all assigned areas and job functionsClimb stairs/laddersOperate and maneuver in/around tight spaces as well as heightsUse heavy equipment for cleaningComfortable with exposure to noise and vibrationsWork in all weather conditions and temperature extremesTrain on and properly use protective gearComfortable working around fumes/dust/odorBend, sit, stand, squat, stoop, walk, kneel, reach with hands and arms at shoulder level or below, climb and reach with hands and arms above shoulder levelComfortable speaking in front of large groups of guests and team membersRemain calm and professional during challenging situationsWorking knowledge of all Microsoft Office applicationsPositively interact with guests, co-workers, and vendors of all ages, different ethnic/cultural backgrounds and/or language, and individuals with special needs.Stand, walk and /or sit for prolonged periods of time.Lift or move 75lbs.The perks of the position:Ambassadors will enjoy a fun, fast-paced environment, and great teammates, as well as:FREE park admissionDiscounts on park admission tickets and passes for family and friendsPark discounts on food, merchandise, etc.Scholarship opportunitiesExclusive employee events and giveawaysEEO Employer:SEAWORLD PARKS & ENTERTAINMENT IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
