Analytical Chemist

DescriptionSeeking a Junior Analytical Chemist to support laboratory testing and analysis within a regulated (GMP/GLP) environment. This role is primarily bench-focused, supporting sample preparation, routine testing, and data generation under the guidance of senior scientists.This is an ideal opportunity for someone with 1–2 years of industry or strong academic lab experience looking to build hands-on analytical expertise in a GMP setting.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine analytical testing using established methods (e.g., HPLC, GC, LC/MS, ICP-MS, ELISA)Prepare samples, reagents, and standards in accordance with SOPsExecute experiments and assays following pre-validated methods and protocolsAccurately record, document, and report data in lab notebooks or LIMSAssist with data analysis and result summaries under supervisionSupport maintenance, calibration, and basic troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentationMaintain clean, organized, and compliant lab environment (safety + quality standards)Assist in SOP updates and documentation as neededCollaborate with team members to support project timelines and deliverablesAdditional Skills & QualificationsB.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field1–2 years of lab experience (industry preferred; strong academic experience considered)Hands-on familiarity with analytical instrumentation (HPLC, GC, UV, etc.)Basic understanding of GMP/GLP environments preferredStrong attention to detail and ability to follow defined procedures (SOPs)Ability to manage multiple samples and tasks in a fast-paced lab settingJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hercules, CA.Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.RequirementsEligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
