Great Benefits including Medical, Dental, and Vision 4 weeks paid time off to start. 9 paid holidays 401k and profit sharing Full time, Monday to Friday Great work/home life balance General Purpose Under the direction of the Chief Operations Officer (COO), the Director of Dental Operations oversees daily operations of all dental clinics to ensure high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, and achievement of financial and performance goals. This role manages Dental Supervisors, leads performance improvement initiatives, and supports strategic growth of the dental program while ensuring an excellent patient experience. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations of all dental clinics and supervise Dental Supervisors Implement strategies, programs, and projects to improve productivity, access to care, quality, and operational efficiency Monitor clinic performance and develop action plans to meet operational and financial goals Collaborate with executive leadership and department directors to improve patient care and clinic operations Assist in development and management of the annual dental department budget Lead performance improvement initiatives, quality assurance, and patient satisfaction programs Mentor, coach, and evaluate Dental Supervisors; support staff development and team performance Partner with Human Resources on recruitment, onboarding, and training of dental staff Ensure compliance with organizational policies, HIPAA, FQHC regulations, and all federal, state, and local requirements Develop and implement operational policies, workflows, and tracking systems to support clinic performance Facilitate management meetings, operational projects, and training initiatives Maintain strong relationships with providers, staff, vendors, and community partners Travel regularly to dental clinic locations and participate in leadership and staff meetings Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Leadership experience in healthcare or dental operations required Strong knowledge of clinic operations, performance metrics, budgeting, and quality improvement Experience supervising managers or supervisors preferred Knowledge of FQHC regulations and compliance standards preferred Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple sites and priorities in a fast-paced environment Key Attributes Strategic, results-driven leader Strong operational and financial management skills Collaborative, professional, and patient-focused Committed to quality improvement and team development
