Radiology - Interventional Physician

A Michigan Hospital 2 hours to Detroit is seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist to provide ongoing locum tenens coverage, beginning 12/25-12/30.Weekdays, 8a-5p + Night and Weekend CallClinic Coverage and Inpatient consults, and emergencies 9-10 procedures per day, including OP and IP. Typically, performing biopsies, kyphoplasty, port placements, para/thora, etc.60% outpatient, 40% inpatientThere are 3 full time APPs who perform procedures and do IP consults locum will superviseEPIC EMRFast CredentialingQualifications:Subspecialty Certification by the American Board of Radiology in Vascular and Interventional Radiology or CAQ in Vascular and Interventional Radiology by the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology or the equivalent board in another country which is recognized by the American Board of Radiology. ACLS, BLS. All certifications must be from the American Heart Association 5 cases proctoredMust be able to produce for credentialing purposes, 50 Cases within the past 12 months For new graduates, the fellowship training log(s) should be provided to document experience within the last 12 months. All other applicants must be able to demonstrate that they have performed and/or interpreted at least 50 vascular and interventional radiology procedures, reflective of the scope of privileges requested, in the past 12 months.
