The program will run from July 9, 2026 through August 19, 2026 Classes are two hour sessions, running Monday through Thursday from 7:45am-10:00am and 10:15am-12:30pm. All classes will be offered in-person.The instructor for each class will be compensated $53.04/hour.Requirements:NYS Certification: Social Studies 7-12NYSED Fingerprint Clearance*Fingerprint Clearance: SAVE Law: Effective July 1, 2001, Education Law §§305(30), 3004-b, 3004-c and 3035, as amended by Chapter 180 of the Laws of 2000, and Part 87 of the Commissioner's Regulations require the Commissioner of Education to request a fingerprint-supported criminal history background check for applicants for certification as well as for prospective employees of school districts, charter schools and boards of cooperative educational services (BOCES).
