Freight Broker Agent

This allows us to offer clients both dedicated freight management and on-demand brokerage services — giving our sales partners a unique edge in the market.Our operations, compliance, billing, and carrier management teams handle the backend — so you can focus fully on building customer relationships and growing your book of business.The Opportunity:We are seeking experienced freight agents.If you do not currently have shipper accounts you can bring with you on day one, this role is not the right fit.Qualifications:Ability to quote freight independently or utilize company-provided quoting tools to secure competitive rates.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Self-motivated, with a proven ability to work independently.Proficiency in TMS systems is an advantage, but training is provided.Benefits:A competitive, Base pay plus uncapped commission 70% of Gross profit with no non-compete clause—agents retain full ownership of their customersComplete back-office support, including billing, accounts payable, and accounts receivableOperational support from our brokerage team, including load booking, carrier management and freight trackingBi-weekly commission via ACH for invoiced loadsAccess to an expansive network of carriers and full use of our TMS systemDedicated support from our agent relations team to ensure your successResponsibilities:As a Freight Agent at TCM, you will be an independent contractor responsible for driving revenue by securing new clients and managing ongoing relationshipsYou will have the flexibility to work remotely and will receive full operational support from our in-house team, including billing, accounts receivable and payable, and carrier managementDevelop and maintain relationships with shippers, providing tailored solutions to their freight needsManage customer accounts, ensuring top-notch service and consistent follow-upCollaborate with our brokerage team to find the right carriers for your clients' shipmentsExpand your book of business by identifying and onboarding new clientsStay up-to-date on industry trends and market shifts to provide customers with the most competitive rates and solutionsJob Description:Job Title: Freight Agent (1099 Contractor)Location: Remote (United States)Requirements:At least 1 year of sales experience (freight broker or trucking industry).Ability to quote freight independently or utilize company-provided quoting tools to secure competitive rates.Established transferrable book of business is a plus but not required.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Self-motivated, with a proven ability to work independently.Proficiency in TMS systems is an advantage, but training is provided.Job Type: ContractBenefits:Work from homeApplication Question(s):Must Have own Books of accountsExperience:Freight Sales: 2 years (Required)Work Location: Remote
