Engineering Manager

AED Energy Services is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager (Owner’s Engineer) to lead multi-discipline engineering execution on large-scale midstream pipeline and liquid pump station projects.This role represents the owner’s interests and is accountable for engineering delivery from detailed design through construction, commissioning, and handover to operations.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide visible safety leadership and ensure HSSE excellence throughout project executionOversee multi-discipline engineering activities to ensure compliance with technical requirements, schedule, and budgetServe as primary engineering interface between project management and EPC contractorsMonitor engineering progress, productivity, and manhour reporting; identify trends and implement corrective actionsLead design reviews and ensure alignment with project technical requirements, standards, and philosophies (Basis of Design, Operations Philosophy, etc.)Manage engineering inputs to procurement, including RFQs, technical bid evaluations, and criticality ratingsSupport management of change (PCNs), technical deviations, claims, and contractor RFIsFacilitate engineering risk workshops and ensure mitigation actions are implementedEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirementsEstablish and oversee design verification processes, QA/QC standards, and contractor design controlsEnsure constructability, operability, and maintainability principles are integrated into designCoordinate with Operations to support readiness, commissioning, and handoverOversee document control, as-built documentation, vendor data, and operating manual developmentCapture and incorporate lessons learned into project executionQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred)10+ years of engineering design and project execution experience on liquid pump stations or midstream pipeline infrastructureStrong leadership and stakeholder coordination skillsExperience representing owner/operator interests on capital infrastructure projectsThis is an opportunity to play a critical leadership role on high-impact midstream infrastructure projects while working closely with EPC contractors and operations teams.Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S., possess a valid driver’s license, and be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
