Its services include uniformed guards, estate security, personal protection, and digital security. The firm is hiring a Controller to oversee its financial operations and financial strategy, working closely with the CEO and Operations leadership.What you'll doOversee accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payrollEnsure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsPrepare and monitor annual budgets and financial forecasts, and monitor cash flowAnalyze profitability by client account, comparing revenue against guard wages, payroll taxes, workers' compensation, insurance, equipment, and other costsMake sure client billing matches contracted rates, hours, overtime, special events, and additional servicesMaintain financial records and internal controls, and coordinate with outside accountants and tax professionalsSet financial performance measures and report results to leadershipWhat you bringBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field15+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or financial managementExperience managing payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial controlsStrong Excel and accounting software skillsAbility to analyze labor costs, client profitability, and company financial performanceMust be local to the Los Angeles area and agree to a background checkPreferredCPA certificationMBA or a Master's in Finance or AccountingExperience in security, staffing, or another labor-intensive industry is strongly preferredsalary range: $110k-150kDossier is acting solely as a recruiting and placement firm for this position and is not the employer of record for this role unless otherwise explicitly stated.
