Financial Planning & Analysis: Senior Analyst (Remote)

Position Summary:Hillenbrand Inc. is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. The Senior Financial Analyst plays a critical role on Hillenbrand’s FP&A team and is a key business partner to Corporate leadership. This role is responsible for leading the annual planning and quarterly forecasting processes for Hillenbrand Corporate as well as providing reporting, insight, and analysis of results on a monthly basis. This role is also involved in process improvements projects leveraging Business Intelligence tools to more effectively and efficiently provide insight to Sr. Management.Remote work option is available but would include quarterly visits to Batesville, IN, our global headquarters.Work You’ll Do:Lead the annual business plan and quarterly forecasting processes for Corporate functionsLead monthly financial reporting for Corporate functions, including analysis of actual variances to plan and forecastProvide support, analysis, and insight to Corporate functional leaders & other members of our senior leadership teamProvide support for quarterly earnings processComplete ad hoc reports or analysis in support of special projectsLeverage Business Intelligence tools to improve effectiveness and efficiency of reportingOther duties may be assignedTeam:This position reports to the Senior Director of FP&A and does not have any direct reports.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field3 to 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or equivalent rolePreferred Qualifications:Intermediate Microsoft Office skills required, with Advanced Excel skillsExperience with financial systems; OneStream experienceStrong communication skillsExperience with financial modeling and reportingAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.Who We Are: Hillenbrand (NYSE: HI) is a global industrial company that provides highly-engineered, mission-critical processing equipment and solutions to customers in over 100 countries around the world.
