Role Description The Transaction & Project Coordinator supports the firm’s acquisition, development, asset management, financing, and investor relations activities by managing due diligence, coordinating closings, maintaining legal entities and compliance, and assisting with investor communications. This role partners closely with internal teams, external counsel, lenders, and investors to ensure transactions are executed efficiently and accurately. Key ResponsibilitiesLegal, Compliance & Transaction SupportCoordinate due diligence, document preparation, signature routing, and closing deliverables for acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and refinancings.Manage closing checklists and track progress to ensure timely execution.Coordinate with external counsel, title companies, lenders, and internal stakeholders throughout transactions.Maintain corporate records, legal documentation, and contract archives, including digital closing binders.Form and manage legal entities, including obtaining EINs, registering in new jurisdictions, and maintaining compliance (licenses, annual filings, etc.).Organize and maintain centralized repositories for organizational documents, entity charts, and property-level legal files.Develop and implement closing procedures and best practices to improve consistency and transparency.Acquisitions, Development & Asset Management SupportLead and manage due diligence checklists for acquisitions and project financings.Assist with entitlement applications, affordable housing filings, and related submissions.Coordinate development-related documentation, including permits, licenses, and bonds.Support transaction execution by compiling and distributing required materials across stakeholders.Assist asset management with post-closing requirements, including lender reporting, repair documentation, and ongoing compliance submissions.Maintain sponsor requirement tracking and reporting, including deadlines and deliverables.Investor Relations & ReportingSupport investor onboarding and investment processing through platforms such as Juniper Square and CrowdStreet.Prepare and distribute offering materials, subscription documents, and investor communications.Maintain investor records, data rooms, and CRM databases.Assist investors with document execution, funding processes, and general inquiries.Coordinate investor reporting, including quarterly updates, distributions, and tax document (K-1) postings.QualificationsBachelor’s degree required; paralegal or real estate experience preferred2–5 years of experience in real estate transactions, legal coordination, or related fieldStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneouslyHigh attention to detail and ability to handle confidential informationProficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Juniper Square or similar platforms a plusBenefitsThe organization’s commitment to professional standards has earned strong respect within the real estate industry.
